İzmir Metropolitan Municipality has been selected to participate in the CLIMAAX project, funded by the EU’s Horizon Europe program. The initiative aims to enhance climate resilience through comprehensive Climate Risk Assessments (CRA) across Europe. İzmir’s participation will focus on addressing major climate-related hazards, including floods, heatwaves, droughts, and wildfires. The project supports adaptation strategies by providing technical resources and fostering regional knowledge-sharing.
